Hank is just about to take off. He stands, he hovers and he has take 3 steps total. So much fun to celebrate. It is an image I am keeping close to my heart whenever I begin at something - because beginning takes a lot of courage, some coordination (likes things falling into place) and then it happens like it was always inside of you. Hank clapped for himself tonight after some small steps in our kitchen. I loved that too!
Here we are in Natick, MA finding our way in our everydays. So many of you are so far from us, we hope this page will give you a glimpse into this precious, sometimes trying and always engaging experience in life that we are having.

A few small steps for man...

End of the Summer
Hi Everyone -
Turner starts school tomorrow. Full day Kindergarten coming our way! So let's get you caught up before we send him off. Our summer was really one big trip - from Acadia National Park to Cook Forest in PA, to Asheville, NC and finally to Ohio we traveled in our micro van this summer and discovered a few things:
1. Some of Bob Dylan's lyrics are not for kids - we are still answering questions about one song written in the Vietnam era.
2. A hotel with a pool and breakfast in the morning is our version of paradise right now.
3. "Old McDonalds," as Turner still calls it, has very effective marketing.
4. When there is enough motivation, like when the other 2 are sleeping, It is possible to nurse a baby while still in his car seat.
5. Enjoy the Journey because it is the trip.
