Jane showed her stuff yesterday in her final "nimnastics" class. For all of her boldness, she surprised me with a bit of stage fright. She carefully processed out with the other athletes, assessed the crowd studded with cameras and video recorders and then made a bee-line right for me. She was very funny about it, as if she had heard an emergency warning and proceeded calming to the nearest exit. With a little prodding and Bun-Bun as her companion, she rejoined the class and performed with a big smile and real concentration. Cousins Sara, Sadie, Max, and "garic," as Charlotte is known to Hank, came to cheer her on - we treated everyone to an athlete's diet after the show at McD's.
